Your Information

Privacy Policy

Interlux General Services LLC respects your privacy. This policy explains the types of information that may be collected when you visit our website, contact our team, submit an equipment enquiry, or use our website tools, and how that information may be used and disclosed.

Last updated: October 26, 2026

1. Who We Are

This website is operated by Interlux General Services LLC, referred to in this policy as "Interlux," "we," "us," or "our."

For questions about this policy or a request relating to your personal information, contact us at info@interluxservices.com or call +1 (800) 532-8848.

2. Information We Collect

The information collected depends on how you use our website and which features are enabled. It may include the following categories:

Information you provide

  • Contact information: such as your name, email address, telephone number, company name, and other details you choose to provide.
  • Equipment and project information: such as the equipment you are interested in, specifications, intended use, quantities, budget information, project requirements, and messages submitted through our forms.
  • Quote and contact enquiries: information you submit when asking for pricing, product details, availability, or assistance.
  • Financing enquiries: information you choose to include when asking about financing options. A request made through our website is an enquiry, not a lender's credit application.
  • Order or transaction details: where applicable, information required to manage a quote, order, deposit, balance, or payment-related enquiry.

Technical and usage information

When you visit the website, our hosting environment, security tools, or website services may process technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, referring page, timestamps, and security events. The actual information collected depends on the tools and settings in use.

Information from other sources

Where appropriate, we may receive information from service providers that help operate the website or complete a transaction, or from a person acting on your behalf. We handle such information in accordance with this policy and applicable law.

3. Build Sheet and Browser Storage

Our Build Sheet feature lets you collect equipment selections and related planning details before submitting an enquiry.

The Build Sheet may use your browser's local storage to keep selected items, quantities, upgrades, or notes on the device and browser you are using. This is different from submitting information to Interlux.

  • Items saved in browser storage may not automatically appear on another device or in another browser.
  • Clearing browser data or local storage may remove the saved Build Sheet.
  • If you submit your Build Sheet or an associated enquiry, the information you submit may be sent to our website and stored for enquiry handling.

A saved Build Sheet is a planning aid. It is not, by itself, a confirmed order, reservation, or agreement to purchase equipment.

4. How We Use Information

Subject to applicable law, we may use information collected through the website to:

  • Respond to enquiries and communicate with you.
  • Prepare or discuss equipment quotations and project requirements.
  • Review equipment selections and Build Sheet submissions.
  • Provide information about listings, specifications, and availability.
  • Manage relevant orders, invoices, payments, or after-enquiry support where applicable.
  • Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and secure the website.
  • Detect misuse, spam, fraud, or activity that could affect website security.
  • Comply with legal obligations and establish or defend legal claims.

We aim to use personal information for purposes that are reasonably related to the reason it was collected or as otherwise permitted by law.

5. How Information Is Shared

We may disclose relevant information, where necessary, to the following categories of recipients:

  • Website and hosting providers: to host the website, store submitted enquiries, maintain functionality, and provide technical support.
  • Email and communication providers: to deliver messages and help us respond to enquiries.
  • Security and technical service providers: to maintain website security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot technical problems.
  • Payment providers: where a payment feature is enabled and used, to process the relevant transaction.
  • Professional advisers and authorities: where reasonably necessary for legal, regulatory, accounting, safety, or dispute-related purposes.

We do not authorize service providers to use information they process for us beyond their assigned services except where permitted by contract or applicable law. Recipients may have their own privacy obligations.

We do not rent personal contact lists to marketers as part of our ordinary website operations. Any marketing, analytics, advertising, or other tracking integrations should be reviewed against the privacy requirements that apply to the website and its visitors.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our website and its service providers may use cookies or similar technologies to support essential website functions, remember preferences, maintain security, or measure website performance where those tools are enabled.

The types of cookies or technologies used depend on the website configuration and the services in use. You may be able to manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking certain cookies or local storage may affect some website features.

Where applicable law requires consent or a particular notice for non-essential cookies, analytics, or advertising technologies, the website should provide the required controls and disclosures.

7. Payments and Financing Enquiries

Payments

Not every equipment listing or website feature necessarily supports online payment. If a payment option is made available and you choose to use it, payment information may be processed by the payment provider identified during that transaction.

The information handled and the applicable terms depend on the payment method and service enabled at the time. Please review the provider's privacy information before submitting payment details.

Financing enquiries

Information submitted through our financing enquiry form is used to understand and respond to your request. The form is an enquiry channel; it is not, by itself, a loan application, credit approval, or guarantee that financing is available.

If a separate lender or financing provider becomes involved, that provider may collect and process additional information under its own privacy notice and terms.

8. Retention and Security

We retain submitted information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including responding to enquiries, managing relevant business records, resolving disputes, maintaining security, and meeting legal obligations. The appropriate retention period depends on the type of information and the circumstances in which it was collected.

We use reasonable measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. However, no website, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Please avoid submitting passwords, full payment-card details, government identification numbers, or other sensitive information through a general enquiry form unless a specifically designated and appropriate process asks for it.

9. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights concerning your personal information. These may include requesting access to information, asking for corrections or deletion, receiving a copy of certain information, withdrawing consent where processing is based on consent, or objecting to certain processing.

Some laws also provide rights relating to targeted advertising or the sale or sharing of personal information. The availability and scope of these rights depend on applicable law and our activities.

To make a privacy request, email info@interluxservices.com with the subject "Privacy Request." Describe your request and provide enough information for us to understand it. We may need to verify your identity or authority before responding.

We will review and respond to requests in accordance with applicable law. Legal obligations, recordkeeping requirements, security concerns, and other lawful exceptions may affect what can be provided or deleted.

10. Third-Party Websites

Our website may contain links to other websites or services. Those third parties operate independently and may have their own privacy policies, cookies, and data practices. We encourage you to review their policies before providing information to them.

This policy applies to the Interlux website and does not replace the privacy terms of third-party services.

11. Children's Privacy

Our website is intended for people researching business equipment and related services, rather than for children. Please do not submit a child's personal information through our forms unless you are authorized to do so and all legally required permissions have been obtained.

If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us inappropriately, please contact us so that we can review the matter and take appropriate steps as required by law.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to our website, business practices, service providers, or legal requirements. When we make changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. The revised policy applies from its stated effective or updated date, subject to applicable law.
